WSF is not responsible for the comments and postings within the WSF chat rooms. All opinions, questions, comments, and information within these areas belong solely to the senders or users and are not endorsed by, nor do they in any way reflect the policies or opinions of the WSF

The purpose of the WSF chat rooms is to allow for the communication and dialogue among the sleep disorder communities, including patients, families, and caregivers. It is WSF’s goal to provide a vehicle will provide assistance to individuals in finding peer support resources related to their area of interest and needs.

WSFChat Room Conduct Policy

ENTERING A WSFCHAT ROOM INDICATES ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE RULES BELOW. USERS WHO VIOLATE THE TERMS OF THE RULES WILL BE PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM USING ALL WSF CHAT ROOMS.

• No Foul or Abusive Language: Do not engage or participate in any activities directly or indirectly that harass, threaten, abuse or intimidate other users. Users come to WSF Chat Rooms for support and guidance, not harassment or ridicule.
• No Offensive Language: Do not post, or attempt to post, any obscene words or hrases. Additionally, explicitly violent, racist, or other abusive language is not allowed. The judgment of language deemed to be obscene, or inappropriate for viewing, is at the sole discretion of the WSF staff.
• No Usurping of Usernames: Do not attempt to assume a previously posted username. Furthermore, do not post messages under the name, "WSF Staff." WSF employees monitor the chat rooms for conformity to this rule.

There are specific procedures that WSF employs when disciplinary action is required. When a WSF Chat Room rule is broken:

1. Ejected from room: You will not receive a warning or "first strike." If any of the above rules are broken, you may be immediately ejected from all WSF Chat ooms.
2. Banned: the user will be permanently banned from entering any WSF Chat Room.
